As an entirely SELF-TAUGHT product designer, web designer, print designer, icon/logo designer and illustrator, I value the importance of not following design 'rules'. I do things my own way, and this comes through in a body of work which is innovative and exciting. My main ambition is to create a line of unique products for the modern home.

I work as a freelance web designer and I have completed a number of sites for small companies and for personal projects. I am proficient in Flash, Dreamweaver, XHTML, CSS, Actionscript and Search Engine Optimisation. Below is a list of the things I can do:

• Set up web hosting and domain name

In order for people to be able to view your website, you firstly need to join a good web hosting plan and purchase a domain name (the address people go to, e.g. www.timothy-clark.com). I know a free hosting plan and I also know how to see if your site is available and how much it will cost.

• Design a contemporary site using latest technologies

I have a high standard of design abilities and have made a number of cutting-edge sites that stand out from the crowd. I work in xHTML and CSS, which means I can easily alter the site a few years down the line.

• Design a logo

If you would like a logo, I can create a contemporary looking one with nice shadows and glossy effects.

• Add transitions and animations

I have a good knowledge of Flash (the program that allows you to add effective transitions like images fading in and out and animations) which will really boost the appeal of your site.

• Search engine optimisation

Once you've got a trendy new site, you'll also want visitors. I can implement the technical information into your site that will boost its rankings in search engines, and I can educate you about the best methods of promoting your site online.
